We are currently looking for GIS Analyst to work in our team, for a very interesting Global Project related to our analytics and digital business unit.

• Necessary skills and experience required:

• More than 4 years of experience in advocating for customer needs.
• Experience reading or debugging code in a scripting language (e.g. Python or JavaScript)

• Experience working with GIS tools to analyze geospatial data, such as Google Earth Engine.

• Language Skills: Advanced English.

Responsibilities

• Develop an in-depth understanding of Earth Engine's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis.
• Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Earth Engine.
• Work as part of a team of engineers/consultants that globally ensure 24-hour customer support. This will include a need to sometimes work non-standard work hours or shifts.
• Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering teams to find ways to improve the product and drive high-quality production.
• Help customers troubleshoot and manage their processing of large geospatial data sets, including integration with machine learning pipelines
• Organize and address external Earth Engine questions and issues (e.g., those raised on StackOverflow, technical mailing lists, etc.)
